Научный руководитель программы Садуев Нуржан Орынбасарович – 46 лет, PhD, ст.преподаватель, заведующий лабораторией физики космических лучей. Опыт работы по направлению программы — 20 лет. Научные интересы связаны с исследованиями в области экспериментальной ядерной физики и физики космических лучей. Является автором более 100 научных работ, в том числе 38 работы, индексируемые в Scopus. Являлся руководителем проекта по программе программно-целевого финансирования на 2018-2020 годы, ИРН BR05236494 «Фундаментальные и прикладные исследования в смежных областях физики земных, околоземных атмосферных процессов и их практическое применение», КН МОН РК. Имеется патент № 5797, Устройство с микромощными узлами электронного тракта для измерения влагозапаса в снеге и влажности почвы в автоматическом режиме при помощи нейтронов космического излучения. Рег. номер заявки 2020/0944.2, от 20.10.2020 г. Является участником коллабораций — NA62 (CERN) и SPD NICA (JINR). Область научных интересов: космические лучи, ядерные реакции, экспериментальные методы в ядерной физике, физике высоких и сверхвысоких энергий, физика элементарных частиц, прикладная ядерная физика.
Исследовательская группа программы представлена известными специалистами в области ядерной физики, физики элементарных частиц и атомного ядра, квантовой механики и квантовой хромодинамики, физики элементарных частиц и атомного ядра, квантовой механики и квантовой электродинамики, также специалисты по профилю — математическое моделирование, численные методы и программные комплексы, радио детектирование, физика и астрофизика высоких и сверхвысоких энергий, физика космических лучей, нейтронной физики, релятивистской астрофизики, космологии и модифицированных теорий гравитации.

Участниками получен ряд фундаментальных результатов в физике элементарных частиц, в частности в описании связанных состояний, а также в физике фундаментальных взаимодействий, по прецизионной спектроскопии, доказательством тому являются опубликованные работы в высоко цитируемых рейтинговых журналах.
